Vision, Mission, and Goals

The Free Clinic of Danville, as part of its Strategic Business Plan development, has established the following vision, mission, and goals for its healthcare service for the uninsured of our area:

Vision:       Quality of life in the Danville region is enhanced by all members of the Danville regional community accepting responsibility for the health of the community.  The DFC will be a meeting ground for dedicated, generous caregivers/healthcare professionals committed to community service and proactive, educated patients committed to becoming responsible for their own health and healthcare.

“Healthcare for the Uninsured”

Mission: The Free Clinic of Danville will provide holistic based comprehensive medical care, with a focus on education and wellness, to qualified uninsured individuals in the Danville Regional Area.

Goals: Seven areas of strategic importance to sustain Free Clinic’s operations:

1. Provide primary medical care to qualified individuals in the Danville Regional Area

2. Increase Funding

3. Revise and implement a marketing plan

4. Recognize, recruit, orient and train volunteers

5. Evaluate services and determine need for expansion

6. Effectively manage resources, personnel and patients

7. Effectively provide prescription medicines
